We would like to express our sincere thanks for visiting of our booth during the COSMOPROF 2013 fairs.

From 7th to 10th MARCH we are participating as an exhibitor in the next edition of the cosmetic trade fairs COSMOPROF in BOLOGNA.

Margin of Safety - MoS

Beginning from 11th July 2013, in compliance with REGULATION (EC) No 1223/2009 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products, it is obligatory to calculate a margin of safety (MoS) and include that information in the toxicological profile of the substance in the cosmetic safety report.
Risk assessment for each single ingredient of the product is a vital stage in the cosmetic safety assessment. It is carried out by calculation of the margin of safety ratio (MoS).
Passage Cosmetics Laboratory, offering services of providing a complete cosmetics dossier, prepares the documentation in accordance with the latest standards, complying not only with Polish and foreign norms, but also with a number of our own research procedures.
Our quality control and cosmetics safety assessment experts make calculations of the margin of safety, taking into account the following:
- NOAEL (no observed adverse effect level);
- routes of exposure;
- the surface area of application;
- the frequency of application;
- specific conditions of use.
Our company gives top priority to activities that ensure that the cosmetics are safe for human health.

HPCI CEE 2012 WARSAW

On 26th and 27th September 2012 the 3rd HPCI Congress (Home & Personal Care Ingredients Exhibition and Conference) will be held. It is the biggest meeting in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to cosmetic industry and household chemistry.
While visiting the exhibition, you will have an opportunity to meet experts from Passage Cosmetics Laboratory specializing in quality control and cosmetic safety assessment, who have up-to-date legislative knowledge concerning cosmetic production and product launching. The first edition of the book "Plants in anti-ageing cosmetics and cosmetology" was released by Medical Publishing House - Wydawnictwo Lekarskie PZWL.
The authors of the book are our long-term and eminent cooperators and consultants in the field of scientific and research dissertations - Eliza Lamer - Zarawska, Professor, PhD, Cezary Chwała, Doctor of Medical Studies and Development Director of Passage Cosmetics Laboratory Antoni Gwardys (PhD).
The book is especially recommended to the students of cosmetology, pharmacy or other related subjects as well as specialists working in these fields.
